£9Popular acoustic trio Noah’s Cape return bringing their unique blend of music, poetry and humour to Banbury Folk Club. This highly entertaining show will include original songs, covers and traditional tunes in an evening of acoustic delight.
Noah’s Cape consists of Linda Watkins (Guitars, Mandolin and Fretless Bass), Marian Wedley (Guitar, Whistles and Harmonica) and Mark Niel (Guitars including Baritone and High Strung). All three take turns in singing lead vocals with their trademark three-part harmonies shining through in equal measure. Each are accomplished solo performers yet combined are much more than the sum of their parts.
Additional humour and poetry is provided by Mark who is well known as Milton Keynes’ Poet Laureate. He has performed at festivals such as Latitude, Green Man and Wychwood as well as appearing on BBC National radio. If you love to sing there will be ample opportunity to join in.
