King’s Gambit is a party-loving English folk band, performing original tunes filled to the brim with melody, spirit and banging beats!

They received the Acoustic / Country / Folk Artist of the Year Award at the Northamptonshire Local Music Awards 2024. 

After four home-recorded albums: Lines and verses – 2011, FolkBeat – 2013,. From One To Another – 2016 and a Live album – 2018. Their first studio album, Around We Go Again, was released in 2021 and received a heartwarming welcome around festivals and local venues alike. In April 2025 they released their 2nd studio album The Elder And The Lost Bet.
