DESCRIPTION:The Hex Collective (Jim Driscoll\, guitar\, Josie Webber\, cello) play a mixture of their own songs and tunes\, traditional material\, and music written to words collected by the railwayman and poet Alfred Williams at the beginning of the twentieth century. Long-standing participants in Oxfordshire’s music scene\, Jim was artistic director of Folk Weekend Oxford for several years\, and Josie was a member of seminal Oxford folk band Telling the Bees.
