SUMMARY:Steve²
DESCRIPTION:Steve Boyer is well known and respected on the Leamington and Warwick music scene. He organises music cafes\, ukelele groups\, children’s workshops\, sessions for those with dementia and plays in a host of local bands. He can often be heard busking for charity in the town centres – his energy and enthusiasm know no bounds! His musical tastes range from classical to jazz to folk and he has a treasure-trove of songs tucked away\, just ready to be performed at the appropriate time and location.\n\nSteve Redshaw has taught in primary schools for the best part of forty years. Now retired and living aboard his narrow boat\, Miss Amelia\, he can pursue his passion for making music. He has played in a variety of bands – a Pogues rip-off\, several Ceilidh bands\, the Petworth Town Brass band and currently\, The Charcoal Burners\, a south of England based folk fusion four piece. His aquaintance with Steve Boyer has involved him in charity busking\, a children’s holiday club\, dementia music sessions and even a Hank Williams tribute band.\n\nSteve and Steve share an affinity for particular singer/songwriters and acoustic music. From that affinity they have formed acoustic duo steve² drawing on material from Van Morrison\, Ralph McTell\, Labi Siffre\, Jim Crawford\, Sandy Denny (to mention just a few of their favourites) as well as from traditional folk sources.\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport will be from Luka. Musician from Warwick supplying hopeful songs and folky guitar.
