DESCRIPTION:Joni Mitchell’s Blue has some of the most distinctive lyrics\, tunes and guitar work on any album ever written. In this new collaboration\, Gordon (guitars and vocals in Scarecrow) and Rebecca (violin and vocals in Liam Vincent and the Odd Foxes) present our own interpretations of these songs\, and others we love from this period\, aiming to capture their character in our own way.\n\nThe duo name Indigo springs from the idea that the project is Blue-adjacent – not trying to replicate the 1971 classic\, but inspired by its chromatic character and energy. We are also playing Stephen Stills songs\, a bit of Bonnie Raitt\, and trying other retro artists as they occur to us.\n\n\nSupport is from the fabulous Dave Arrowsmith.
